Gold price hits Rs285,000 per tola in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD (APP) – The price of 24 karat gold witnessed a significant rise on Tuesday, climbing by Rs1,600 to reach Rs285,000 per tola. This marks an increase from the previous trading day when the price stood at Rs283,400, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a notable uptick, rising by Rs1,372 to settle at Rs244,342, up from Rs242,970. In the 22 karat category, the price for 10 grams increased to Rs223,980 from Rs222,722. This upward trend reflects ongoing demand in the gold market, influenced by various economic factors.

While gold prices are on the rise, the prices of silver remained stable. The price for per tola silver was reported at Rs3,350, while the price for 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,872.08, indicating a steady demand for this precious metal as well.

In the international market, the price of gold also increased, gaining $16 to reach $2,755, compared to the previous price of $2,739. This global price surge often influences local markets, as investors and consumers adjust their buying strategies in response to international trends.
