Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a special traffic diversion plan in connection with the ceremony at the Fatah Monument, aimed at maintaining smooth traffic flow and facilitating commuters.

According to the traffic plan, the service road from Al-Shifa Hospital towards the Federal Board will remain closed. The route from Beaconhouse towards Faiz Ahmed Faiz Road and Jafar Khan Jamali Road will also be closed for traffic.

Traffic diversions will be implemented at designated points. Vehicles approaching from Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Road will be diverted towards the I-8 East Service Road, while traffic from the Al-Shifa Signal will be diverted towards Mir Chakar Road.

The traffic police has advised citizens to use Mir Chakar Road, Patras Bukhari Road and I-8 Main Double Road as alternative routes.

Citizens have also been requested to park their vehicles only at designated parking areas to avoid congestion and inconvenience during the event.
