NADRA Launches Pakistan-Made QR Code National Identity Card

Summary: NADRA has introduced a Pakistan-made QR code-based national identity card, replacing imported microchips with a secure QR code. The new card can be verified through smartphones and the PakID app and will gradually replace existing chip-free identity cards before expanding to NICOP, Juvenile Cards and POC.
