The Islamabad High Court has suspended, until the next hearing, an order issued by the Pakistan Information Commission seeking details of the revenue, expenses and other financial information related to Pakistan’s ODI series against South Africa.

The Islamabad High Court issued a written order granting a stay on the petition filed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to the order, the Pakistan Information Commission’s decision dated July 9 has been suspended until further proceedings.

Chief Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar heard the PCB’s petition on August 4 and granted interim relief to the cricket board.
