Islamabad: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced multiple government job vacancies ranging from BS-16 to BS-20 across various federal departments, offering opportunities for candidates seeking public-sector employment.

According to the FPSC advertisement, vacancies have been announced in medical, administrative, engineering, defence, railway, planning, finance and other sectors.

The vacancies include 160 posts of Assistant Audit Officer (BS-17) under the Auditor General of Pakistan and 25 Demonstrator positions (BS-17) at the Federal Medical College. The Economist Group of the Ministry of Planning has also announced 12 vacancies in BS-17.

At the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, six posts of Professor (BS-20) and two posts of Associate Professor (BS-19) have been advertised.

The Ministry of Defence has announced 10 Nursing positions (BS-16) at AFIRM, while four posts of Civilian Medical Practitioner (BS-17) are available at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

The Ministry of Railways has announced three Assistant Engineer positions, four Assistant Executive Engineer positions, two Assistant Controller positions and two Assistant Mechanical Engineer positions, all in BS-17. One post of Assistant Director Legal (BS-17) has also been advertised.

The Ministry of Planning has announced vacancies for Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief and Research Officers. Meanwhile, various scientific, ordnance, security and finance-related positions have also been advertised under the Ministry of Defence and GHQ.

Other advertised positions include two Junior Scientific Officer posts (BS-16) at AFIP Pathology, one Assistant Draftsman position (BS-18) at the Ministry of Law, one Assistant Director position (BS-17) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, one Deputy Director position (BS-18) in the National Heritage Division and one Budget Publication Officer position (BS-18) in the Finance Division.

In addition, multiple government job opportunities have been announced in various departments of Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the FPSC, provincial, regional and women quotas have been allocated for different positions. Candidates have been advised to carefully review the official advertisement for details regarding eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, experience, age limits and applicable quotas.
