ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has received a report detailing the cases registered against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Justice Shah Rukh Arjumand heard the petition seeking information about the cases against the two sisters. Lawyers Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry and Shaheena Shehab appeared on behalf of Aleema Khan, while Usman Ghuman represented the government.

According to the report submitted before the court, three cases are registered against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan with the Islamabad Police, while one inquiry involving both sisters is pending with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The government’s lawyer informed the court that, based on the latest available record, these three police cases and one FIA inquiry were the only matters currently listed against the two sisters.

After the report was submitted, the Islamabad High Court disposed of the petition. The application had been filed through Barrister Salman Safdar.

The petition was originally filed by Shahreiz Khan in October 2024 following the arrest of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.
