Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss bilateral relations and ways to further expand cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

According to the details of the meeting, the two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in trade, economy, tourism, politics, culture and science.

The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan and Iran to further strengthen their bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various sectors.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the need to increase trade between Pakistan and Iran. He also highlighted the importance of promoting cooperation in energy, tourism and joint investment.

President Pezeshkian said Iran and Pakistan could utilize their regional capabilities to help meet each other’s needs and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

Mohsin Naqvi said that relations between Tehran and Islamabad are at a high level and reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Iran.

The meeting also covered matters of mutual interest, regional cooperation and opportunities for expanding relations between the two neighboring countries.
