Islamabad: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has adjourned the hearing of the barrier removal case against lawyers Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha until tomorrow due to Judge Tahir Abbas Supra being on leave.

ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain presided over the hearing. Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha were presented before the court through a video link.

However, technical issues with the video link prevented them from communicating properly during the proceedings. In a brief exchange, they said they could not hear the audio and questioned why other detainees had been brought to court in person while they were appearing remotely.

The lawyers requested the court to schedule the next hearing for the following week. However, Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain rejected the request.

The court subsequently adjourned the proceedings until tomorrow, stating that Judge Tahir Abbas Supra would hear the case in the relevant court.
