Gold prices declined in both international and local markets on Monday, while silver became more expensive in Pakistan.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold dropped by $18 per ounce, bringing the new rate to around $4,436 per ounce.
Following the global trend, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,800 per tola in Pakistan, settling at Rs466,136 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,414, reaching Rs399,636.
In contrast, silver prices moved higher. The price of one tola of silver increased by Rs67 to Rs7,179, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs57 to Rs6,154.
