ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan has been scheduled for October 13, with Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi set to chair the meeting.

The meeting will discuss the extension of the tenure of the constitutional benches of the Sindh High Court.

The Judicial Commission meeting will be held at 1:30pm on October 13 in the Supreme Court conference room.

The current tenure of the constitutional benches of the Sindh High Court is set to expire on October 25.

The commission is expected to consider the matter of extending the constitutional benches’ tenure ahead of its expiry.
